Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Yacht Sales Broker to join our team. You will be working closely with the founders who have extensive knowledge of the industry - sourcing, procuring yachts internationally and setting a private yacht to a yacht chartering business. The ideal candidate will have a strong network or clientele for yachts, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and a strong understanding of the luxury yachting industry (training will be provided if new to the field). This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate leads for yacht sales through networking, prospecting, and relationship building.

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential buyers and market trends.

  • Collaborate with yacht owners, manufacturers, and brokers to list and promote yachts for sale.

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of yacht listings, ensuring accurate and compelling descriptions, specifications, and photographs.

  • Coordinate yacht viewings, inspections, sea trials, and negotiations between buyers and sellers.

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the sales process, including financing, registration, and documentation.

  • Manage client inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  • Stay informed about industry developments, new yacht models, and competitor activities.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the company.

  • Represent Singapore Yacht Cruise at industry events, boat shows, and networking functions to promote our brand and services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in yacht sales or a related field.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the luxury yachting industry.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong understanding of yacht specifications, features, and pricing.

  • Knowledge of marine finance, insurance, and legal requirements for yacht transactions.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • Yacht broker license or certification is a plus.
