Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guides to join our team. The ideal candidates will be passionate about sharing Singapore's rich history, culture, and attractions with guests aboard our luxury yachts. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct guided tours of Singapore's coastline, landmarks, and attractions aboard our luxury yachts.

  • Welcome guests aboard and provide a warm and engaging introduction to the tour itinerary and highlights.

  • Share interesting facts, stories, and insights about Singapore's history, culture, architecture, and natural beauty.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of guests throughout the tour, including adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures.

  • Answer questions, provide assistance, and engage with guests to enhance their experience and enjoyment.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing SG Yacht Cruise in a positive and professional manner.

  • Collaborate with other crew members, including captains and crew, to ensure smooth operation and coordination of tours.

  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner, striving to exceed guest expectations.

  • Stay informed about current events, local attractions, and tourism trends to enhance tour content and delivery.

  • Assist with onboard activities, hospitality services, and any other duties as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a tour guide, hospitality professional, or customer service representative preferred.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

  • Knowledge of Singapore's history, culture, landmarks, and attractions.

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for engaging with guests and providing exceptional customer service.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations and guest needs.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
